Children who have health insurance have a better chance of being healthy. Keeping children healthier will help them to become stronger and more productive and when their performance is improved, they focus on their studies. Children with health insurance are less likely to miss school because they are sick. Serious health problems in children can also have an effect on them emotionally and mentally and make them less likely to take part in normal children's activities that are important for their early development. That is why it is crucial for children to have some type of health insurance. Health care coverage can assure your child’s access to medical care by helping pay for routine checkups and immunizations, prescriptions and other health services. By helping them go to school every day ready to learn, you can help boost your child's performance in school today and in the future.
We all know that preventive health care contributes to the overall health of your child.

It also found that 11.7 percent of US children under 18 lacked health insurance, compared with 10.9 percent in 2005. Read more.
